Less than a kilometer from Paradis Pietrasanta, on foot, by shuttle, by car or by electric bike made available to our customers, the Paradis becomes a sustainable agricultural farm that extends over 7 hectares, already in 100% organic conversion.
Under the leadership of Filippo, a specialized farmer, his farmers trained by us and by the monitoring of our agronomists, the 4,000 m2 greenhouse, the vegetable garden, the orchard, the henhouse are worked here with the greatest care to provide the best products to our restaurant, our hotel, our houses and guesthouses, but also to passing customers.
Our eco-responsible farm has been carefully designed. The site is self-sufficient in drinking water, produces part of its energy thanks to solar panels and aims for zero-waste. You will find our vegetables planted between the rows of olive and fruit trees. Our wish is to organize lunches, dinners and tastings of our products in this green natural atmosphere. We also wish to be able to be a site of training and exchanges with the inhabitants, the schools of the region in order to welcome all those who wish to reconnect with the ancestral traditions of agriculture and breeding.
Now a few words about Pietrasanta: it is known as the “small Athens”. As it is located close to the Carrara marble quarries, sculpture is everywhere: on the public squares, in the workshops and in the galleries scattered all over the fortified town.
Pietrasanta is also a real Tuscan city with its yellow and ocher facades, his lovely Duomo, his Narrow streets which are full of life all the year long. Olives are the second passion of the local people. The hills around are covered with olive trees which determine the pace of life for the families who gather in the Fall to collect the valuable fruit.
The Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio beach resorts, with their large white sand beaches, their restaurants, beach bars and night-clubs, are only 10mn from downtown.
